After spending part of January of 2017 in the mountains of Honduras serving at a children's home, Billy came home with fresh ideas for his next CD. "I wanted to build this CD around that experience as the foundation for my new CD." From orphans to drug addiction, child abuse to predators on the internet, and a song written about the death of his wife's beloved horse, Sugar, "Broken Things" is full of a lifetime of experiences. Billy has designated using his music to help make the world a more loving place, so 100% of the proceeds from this CD will be donated to the Hope in Jesus Children's Home in Honduras.
The title track for my new CD "Hard Places" was written with my wife, Sandy. It is about our two adopted children. Stella came to us at four days old, addicted to heroin because of her birth mom. Dallas's family blew up their garage making methamphetamine and he arrived at 22 months old the day we got home from my brother, Tommy Crain's memorial. The therapeutic community call them children from Hard Places. This whole CD is dedicated to helping these children. 100% of the proceeds of this CD goes to The Papillion Center for FASD and God bless these children.....
